Who we are

Fazy (fazy.com) is a daily curated deals publication. We feature verified product deals across home, appliances, electronics, beauty, apparel, and footwear, and link out to the merchants that sell them.

What we collect

Fazy does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information to browse. We record which deals are clicked, which searches are run, and standard analytics such as page views and referral sources, used to understand which content is useful. We do not sell your personal data.

If you use the voice or search assistant, we store what you asked, how long it took to answer, whether it found anything, and — so we can tell whether it works better on phones than on laptops — whether the request came from a mobile, tablet or desktop browser, and the country and state it came from. We do not store your city, your IP address, or any audio.

Cookies and affiliate links

Fazy sets two of its own cookies. The first is a random identifier with no personal information in it, which lets us count one person browsing ten deals as one person rather than ten. The second is set only if you arrive by clicking a link in an email we sent you: it records that the visit is yours, so the deals and answers you see can reflect what you have looked at before. Both are first-party, are never shared with anyone else, and cannot be read by scripts running in the page. Clearing your browser's cookies removes both and disconnects the history from you.

We do not fingerprint your device, and we do not track you across other websites.

Some links on Fazy are affiliate links. When you click one, the merchant or an affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute a resulting purchase, at no extra cost to you. These cookies are governed by those third parties' own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third parties

We rely on service providers for hosting, analytics, and affiliate attribution. Product data and prices come from merchants and public product feeds. We link to external sites we do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

YouTube

Some pages show third-party review videos alongside the products they discuss. Those videos are found using the YouTube Data API, and each one is shown as its thumbnail, title and channel name. No player is loaded while you are only looking at a thumbnail.

Opening a video in the feed expands it and loads YouTube’s embedded player at that moment, and only that one: the player exists while the video is open and is removed when you close it. We serve it from youtube-nocookie.com, which does not store anything on your device until playback actually begins. Once it does, you are using YouTube inside our page, and Google may set cookies or similar storage and receive your IP address and details of the video you watched. Elsewhere on the site, selecting a video opens it on youtube.com instead. In both cases your use of YouTube is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

We store only what is needed to show a video beside a product: its video id, title, channel name and thumbnail address. We do not download, re-host or alter any video, and we do not build profiles from YouTube data or pass it to anyone else. Stored references are re-checked against the YouTube Data API on a recurring schedule, and a video that has been deleted, made private, or set as non-embeddable is removed from our database and stops appearing on the site. You can revoke Fazy’s access to your YouTube data at any time through Google’s security settings, though Fazy never asks for or receives access to a personal YouTube account.

Social platforms

Fazy may publish deal content to social platforms such as Pinterest that link back to fazy.com. Those platforms process data under their own privacy policies.
